Opportunity for Entrepreneurs to work with Columbia Business School Students
Are you an entrepreneur in the process of raising capital? In the spring of 2007, Professor Murray Low, Executive Director of the Lang Center for Entrepreneurship at Columbia Business School, and Ron Hahn of Battelle Ventures, will be offering a Master Class in Entrepreneurship. Under the supervision of Professors Low and Hahn, teams of MBA graduating students will work with selected entrepreneurs to help them refine their business plans and investor presentations, and to help them raise capital. Time commitment for entrepreneurs:
In return, the entrepreneurs need to be committed to making this a positive learning experience for the students. Entrepreneurs will be selected on the basis of venture potential and their assessed ability to work constructively with a team of students over the course of the semester. Interested entrepreneurs should submit their application on this site by December 6. Students are involved in making the final decisions about which ventures will be selected, and applicants may be asked to provide additional information in January. Final selection of entrepreneurs will be made January 31.
